Camp Setting and Guest Experience
Our Dulana Serengeti North and South Camps are one and the same camp. Based on our Heritage mobile camp model, the camp moves seasonally following the path of The Great Migration as the herds move in search of better life-giving grazing—breaking down and setting up again in prime wildlife locations to maximise access to this incredible spectacle.
Dulana Serengeti North, with its westerly setting, epitomizes the true spirit of romance under canvas. Each tent is positioned to maximise uninterrupted views across the classic Serengeti landscape, with billowing fabrics and curated comforts that capture the magic of the bush.
The camp features a flexible setup of 10 en-suite tents and can be configured to suit a single large group or split into two fully private camps, each with its own mess and facilities, ensuring complete exclusivity and privacy at all times.
Dining and relaxing take place in a single combined mess and lounge tent, designed to let the African breeze flow through. Menus are individually crafted to guest preferences and paired with a curated selection of southern African wines, beers, and soft drinks. A full bar is always available.
Like its sister location in the south, Dulana is only booked on an exclusive basis and is open from June through November.
Wildlife and Seasonal Landscapes
Dulana Serengeti North sits in the far north of Serengeti National Park, directly in the path of the migrating wildebeest and zebra en route to the Mara River. This region hosts The Great Migration during the dry season, alongside dramatic kopje rock formations, river crossings, and open plains filled with mammals and birdlife.
Game viewing in the north offers a different feel to the southern Serengeti—an exciting contrast, with the river providing an alternative haven for wildlife.
