Olerai is an intimate home-from-home style lodge, some 10 kilometres outside of the main northern tourism capital, Arusha.
Lodge Setting and Guest Experience
Formerly a private residence, Olerai has been sensitively developed to accommodate guests on an exclusive basis, ensuring our full attention when looking after you.
Nestled in a Yellow Barked Acacia forest, Olerai has a total of nine en suite guest rooms spread over 8 acres of indigenous forest, lawns and herbaceous beds. We grow our own organic vegetables and source other food items from local producers, ensuring a delicious, healthy, farm to table experience.
Daytimes can be as relaxed as you wish, either on the private veranda of your room, or sitting in the quiet gardens. In the evenings, we light the camp fire and enjoy aperitifs before serving dinner.

Wildlife and Wellness
Bird life around Olerai is prolific, and occasionally smaller mammals such as Vervet Monkeys and Dik Dik can be seen whist Tree Hyrax often call from the canopy tops.
The Olerai Spa can be booked for therapeutic treatments, facials and massage, to help with travel fatigue on arrival or in preparation for the journey home.
